Courage Is What Counts

18:58 / /

Today's saying of the day at the train station is,

"Success is never final,
Failure is never fatal,
Courage is what counts"

Seriously, who is that bullshytting for in the context of today's
unforgiving society? Courage counts - it must have, after all that
was by Winston Churchill and if my memory hasn't failed me, it was
during The Battle of Britain that numerous inexperienced pilots
contributed to the death toll getting downed by the superior Luftwaffe.

Again, there is anoter saying which goes on about failure not killing
you. It doesn't kill you - it turns you into something else albeit
stronger.

Could that something be undesirable yet essential for survival? Now
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde all seems to make sense as an allegory of life
after death, sorry I meant failure. Everytime Mr. Gentleman meets a
bump, he heads to the pub for a little something...

By pub I mean lab. It's like how coming by my place for coffee means
eventual sex.

Spends most of the time feeding characters into this blog from a Lycosa, it tries to avoid Americanisation amidst the guise of globalisation.  It believes in Santa Claus despite knowing it to be an illusion - more truthful than that of religion.

It is miserable and is known to be misanthropic.
