In recent times with housing slumps and rising oil prices, comedy seems to be the only thing which kick starts that upbeat attitude before we start off each day stepping on the gas pedal knowing that a bigger is getting burnt in your pocket. Who can forget Rowan Atkinson's infamous role in Mr. Bean? Close scrutiny upon the umpteenth time of re-watching has brought about some interesting but mostly unnoticed details.

Watching Mr. Bean once more isn't really much of a comic relief to me since I relate to him in most circumstances and actually pains me to see him fall prey to societal norms and scripted misfortunes; rather I reindulge myself at his common sensical (sensical isn't a word by the way) genius like personally bringing a fish of preference to the departmental store to buy a pan just right and having the freshest of lunch sandwiches is to have your fish kept alive in a bottle snuggly stored in your coat pocket. Regarding the Mazda bulbs, GE officially stoped the Mazda branding in the late 1930s - early 40s so isn't it a continuity error since Bean was 90s production despite the dated context which gives a deviation of about 10 years back to the 80s?

With a driving and maths test tomorrow, it is time to retire for bed. Ending the night are some tunes from the 60s - Tico Tico no Fuba by Les Paul and Magic Moments by Perry Como. Goodnight.
